3/4 cup mayonnaise
¼ cup sour cream
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (may use less??)
1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice or cider or white wine vinegar
½ tsp. salt – add more to taste?
½ tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1-1 ½ tsp. sugar
¼ – ½ tsp. celery seeds
Optional: sunflower seeds, toasted or not
1 store-bought bag shredded slaw mix (containing red and green cabbage and carrots)
In a large bowl, mix together the dressing ingredients. Taste and adjust flavours to your taste.
Add dressing to the shredded slaw mix and toss until combined. Do not add too much dressing. Leftover dressing will keep well in refrigerator.
